  1. A compressor map is a graphic representation of the relative pressure from one stage to another in an axial-flow compressor such as a turboprop or turbofan engine.

Engineers use the compressor map in predicting the performance of an engine design and for design testing.

If you do an internet search on "compressor map," you will be amazed to find lots of information, photographs, and diagrams that explain compressor maps.

  2. I not do question your understand...(?)

  3. I guess it will just show you an illustrated diagram of your engines compressor. It would show you if you have either a centrifugal or axial flow compressor.
