A Hoboken bound train approaches Far Hills Station as it passes a Gladstone bound train on the Far Hills siding. Most of the Gladstone Branch is single tracked, creating the need for scheduled meets such as this one on passing sidings. Note the compromise coupler attached to the front of this unit. Since the Arrow III MUs have a pin coupler system, the compromise coupler is used when the need arises to link to a standard coupler.
