Comptia Network+ Certification Question...

I've read that the A+ certification was updated to 2006 standards. I have a book from about 2002 for Network+. Has the Comptia Network+ Certifications been updated to any recent year of standards? I don't want to use a book that is considered out of date with these certifications.

The network + cert is at 2005 standards i am currently a student of an IT School and just checked the web-site to see what year it was at and its at 2005
