I have a Compaq Presario C500 laptop and the running in system is Windows Vista.Today my computer stopped responding to anything and it the screen stayed frozen no matter what I tried for at least 10-15 minutes.I then decided to shut it off manually by pressing the power button. I then pressed it again to turn my computer on. This exact thing has happened a few times before with my computer where it stops working and then I restart it.This time however, when it turned back on it had erased everything on my computer. All of my pictures, music, documents, basically all of my data is gone. Even my desktop was different. It's like a have a brand new computer. Is there any way that I can recover all of my data?Thank your for your help
