If your too lazy to read the description under about my problem, scroll all the way down to where I wrote the main point. Otherwise, I suggest reading the descriptions on the problem.
Just 4 days ago, I system restored my computer to a earlier date. Ever since I did that, whenever I turned on my computer, it would automatically detect very old hardware that I've installed a long time before, such as "Detected New Hardware: Keyboard", or "Detecting New Hardware: Mouse." After my computer detects a whole lot of old hardware, it tells me in order to preserve the changes onto my computer, I would need to restart my computer. When I click "restart" to restart my computer, the entire cycle goes over again. It detects the hardware AGAIN, and then asks me to restart AGAIN.
Also, I have another problem. Whenever I try to download something from the internet, either it is Firefox or either it is AVG Anti-virus free edition, the file never gets saved. Whenever I click download, the download pop-up comes up, asking me if i want to save it or open it. I've tried both, but whenever it finish downloading, it never shows up on my desktop or anywhere on my computer. All my download files go to My Desktop because I've directed them there, but they don't show up. I haven't been able to download anti-virus programs or even get on mozilla for the past 2 weeks. *I am using internet explorer*
Help Please!
Main Point: My computer doesn't download and it keeps detecting old hardware, asking me to restart my computer.
