Computer Engineering Admission....What should I do now?

I have been selected for computer engineering in our local university.....but they are saying that you have been selected for telecom engineering and not computer one....but i know that merit of telecom is greater than comp engg....and i dont want to do telecom...wht shud i do?...help plz

  1. I'd say talk with the admissions/advisers at your university and tell them you are not interested in TE and wish to pursue a CE degree.  There's a chance this is just a miscommunication (maybe someone said CE aloud and someone else heard TE since C and T sounds alike).

    Whatever the case, if it's a local university I don't see why they would not let you pursue the degree you are interested in.  You, just like any other student, could take your money elsewhere and that money is the reason that they are there for you in the first place.
