ok, so, I open Microsoft Word and am about to type something when my internet browser opens up and begins to open tab after tab of p**n sites. I've discovered that it is only Word that does this, i can open up FireFox just fine and nothing happens. Is there a hidden program or something in Word? and if so, how can i get rid of it?

  1. This kind of malware is annoying, but not difficult to remove. You can download Windows Defender (from Microsoft) for free and run it. This program can find this kind of hidden software and remove it. Or you can get AWG 8.0, the free anti-virus anti-spyware program, from from http://free.avg.com/ww.download?prd=afe

  2. ok well first clear your cookies. Then scan word with a virus protection software. If you have avast (www.avast.com) is works very well. if you have vista just right click on the Microsoft word icon then click scan.

  3. You got hijacked you search for something and gives you p**n websites or p**n advertisements. Go to www.avg.com download a free antivirus it will remove it, and saty away from p**n sites.

  4. probably a virus.

if you have a virus scanner scan your pc.

if you dont have one download from here... http://www.avast.com - its free
