Computer Password Help! Please help me! ?

Question

Okay. In my house, we have two computers. One for me, one for my brother. My mother was using mine yesterday, so I went on brother's to write a chapter for my story. Now, the next day, after the computer was restarted, my brother can't remember his password. How can we get into his account so I can reach my chapter?? Please help!!!!

Follow his steps

Step 1:  Restart the system.

Step 2:  Keep pressing F2 or F8 (Depends on mother board).

Step 3:  Select safe Mode and press enter.

Step 4:  It dispalys Your Account name (eg. vamshi) and Administrator account.

Step 5:  Select Administrator it will Prompt for "you are running in safe mode.... do you want to continue?

Step 5:  click on "YES".

Step 6:  Now Right click on My Computer and select Manage

Step 7:  Now Expand the Local User and Groups and select  Users

Step 8:  Right click on the user account (eg. vamshi)you have set the password.

Step 9:  Select "Set Password" and click on Proceed.

Step 10: Type the passwoed and Click ok and restart the system.

If you don't see the "Local User and Groups" in manage, just go to control panal and change the password.

First off download bitlord off of WWW.download.com. Then go to www.thepiratebay.org and search for ultimate boot cd. download it and burn it . Then insert the cd and use the password recovery to redo your password ( Blank passwords work best to access your account.).

Download the LiveCD version of Ophcrack, burn it to a CD, boot it, and it'll give you the password.

This is the best answer if you are using XP:

if you log-in into that blue welcome screen with user pictures, press CTRL+ALT+DEL after that press again CTRL+ALT+DEL then a window will appear asking a username and password. enter "administrator" then leave the password blank IF your account isn't the admin and if the admin doesn't have a PASSWORD!!!. Then you can delete the older account but keep in mind that you will be asked if you want to retain its files. after deleting Go to Documents and Settings and look for the name of the account that you have deleted then get those files that you wanna move. That's all ^___^  i hope it works
