  1. You most likely didn't buy the package where the computer came with a DVD-Writer/Drive. However even though there is no way to attain a free DVD Drive they are quite cheap only around 18-49$. When installing the DVD Drive you open the side panel of your tower and insert the DVD Driver in the allocated spot (this differs to different towers) Then you connect the wires and power cables and it should work.

Thats if you mean't DVD Driver where you insert CD's if you mean't a Media Player I suggest you get Windows/VLC/Windows Classic.

Depending on your uses Windows Media Player looks nice and can handle most file formats while VLC and Windows Classic will handle different Codec formats. If you just want the uses VLC would be the best but if you want some uses but looks nice also then Windows Media Player

  2. If your computer has a dvd drive it should have a dvd player automatically installed.

  3. Well you must have bought it like that. If you want one you will have to pay for one. They don't come for free!

  4. I'm confused too, are you talking about a DVD drive or the program that plays DVD's?  If you just need a player see the links below, if you need a drive you will have to buy one and put in your computer...

  5. If your computer comes with a DVD-ROM Drive, try downloading VLC Media Player it's free and probably one of the best media players out there.

    If not try ebay.co.uk/ebay.com

    play.com

    scan.co.uk

    amazon.co.uk/.com

You can pick a fairly decent drive for around £20/$40 and they're a doddle to install.

  6. Get VLC media player. It is free. To learn windows secrets visit my website. The link is in my profile

  7. Just go to www.download.com where you can download as many free dvd players as you want, just look for media players on the menu at the left.

The site does not have any spyware or viruses so you can use it safely

  8. For free? You don't. You buy a DVD drive (internal if you have room, external if you don't)
