Computer Problem on my contact....??

Can you give any diagnosis from my contact's problem on her computer?

This is her message when she emailed me her problem:

"Twice I've tried to log on to the web page given and, twice my computer locked up."

Is there any diagnosis to her problem? If so, what's the diagnosis/recovery/treatment? No vague answers.

It will be a bad site.

Reboot

Run your security system.

(If that is happening on Answers it should be reported.)

Try a different web browser.

Some sites are specifically coded for one type of browser such as IE and if you try to view them in Firefox for example, sometimes the page will just not look right and sometimes the Firefox app crashes altogether.

Without any more specifics that's the best I can do for you.
