Computer Problems PLEASE HELP? Im Desperate!?

Question

I carn't access my, my computer, my pictures, or my my documents file. i carnt access user accounts. and i carnt get on msn. it wont let me save pictures or open files, when i do this. it shuts down which ever programme i am using i.e the internet if im trying to save a picture, it just shuts down. if i use paint and try and open a file it shuts paint down. its really annoying and i have no idea whats wrong with it. PLEASE HELP???????

Well sounds like you have a problem!!!!!! i suggest if you are running windows re-insert your windows disc and do a "full partition NTFS format" which will clear your system of any virus then re-boot your system with the same windows and after that when you re-start your I.P "google" in the names"MALWAREBYTES" and "SPYBOT" and "Ad-Aware" because i will guess that a "trojanhorse" or "ad-ware" or "malware" has completely "shut" your system down. I hope this is helpful and i'm speaking through experience!!!!!

Unless you have a weird hardware or software problem it sounds like a virus.

Download spybot and  free AVG (just google for them) and scan the computer.

It sounds like a problem with explorer. Is there any error messages in event viewer?

start > run > type in eventvwr (for vista go to start > in the search box type in: eve)

look at the logs (application log especially) double click on an error to see more details

Unless you have experience I would ask a professional to have a look at it.

Looks like a virus possibly but it could be a problem with your master boot record. (happened to me last  week thanks to everyone on yahoo answers who helped.)

ok first what type of computer do u have and          just go out and buy your self a mac  macs dont get viruses or do any of this stuff i bought a imac a week ago cause i got so tired of my pc so get a mac

Start windows in Safe mode (F8 when windows is booting) run your anti virus full check and your Anti Spyware,

If you do not have any of these, You may have to seek professional help to clean your hard disk via another PC.

AVG is a good free Antivirus and SpyBot is a good free Anti-Spyware.
