Less than two years ago I bought all the parts for my PC and put them together. Everything went well, except for one problem: When I start my PC from it being completely dead, the fans will spin, the lights will come on for about 1-2 seconds, then it will shut off. It will do this over and over until I do one thing; Unplug it and take out the 5 volt battery then reinsert it and start all over. That is the only way that I can get it to start up without shutting down almost immediately. On a side note, when I restart my computer, it will immediately go to the Bios screen (I think) where I have to press F1 to continue or delete to enter setup. This was the most frustrating problem I had when I first got my computer. At that time I tried everything including; RMAing the motherboard, switching out the 5 volt batter, switching out the power supply, taking each component that wasn't necessary for startup and seeing if it was that). I really don't know what to do and it is the greatest annoyance(especially when the power goes out multiple times). Any help is greatly appreciated. My specs(in case that is important): NZXT Lexa case, Asus M2N SLI Deluxe, AMD X2 4200+, Western Digital Hard Drive, Corsair 2gigabytes of memory.
