  1. Help Desk Support is considered a jb for a person with an asscoiates degree. A person with a BS should be the boss of the help desk support people. You only would accept a job on a help desk if you have no other prospects and as soon as you start you will look for something better/

Do not be surprised that if you apply for a help desk job you are told that you are over qualified. The only place the help desk is normally staffed with BS people is in India.

  2. Definetely not. You should get an internship or an entry level development position. You will make nothing doing Help Desk support. That type of a job is meant for someone without a degree.

  3. Probably since it seems companies do not count school experience as "experience" any more, they'll pass you over for someone else. Then you'll try to get "experience" in the Help Desk support and have a hard time without relocating to India since most help desks are now outsourced there.
