Computer Speaker Question ???

Okay, I am trying to connect 2 huge speakers to my computer. The speakers just have speaker cord coming out of them and obviously i cant put that in my computer. How do i do this?

  1. You don't.

    You will blow the sound card circuit at the very least if you succed in making a connection!

    Use power amplified speakers that are already set with the proper impedence for computers.

    Try to find Realtek '97 Xear sound device online or some other high def. sound mixer for movie effect, music, or what ever you are looking to play.


  2. its probably best that you use a reciever.. could be from a stereo system that has auxilary inputs. then take a 1/8 in to rca cable to go into your system, and hook your speakers up to that.. its a little complicated, i'd probably just get speakers for a computer.
