Computer Volume OUT!!?

My computer, HP windows XP, is completely dead on sound. Last night the sound COMPLETELY went out! I've done everything from restarting it, re-plugging things, etc. Why has this happened? What should I do?

  1. Go to the HP support site and get to the drivers/downloads section for your particular computer. You want to look for sound/audio drivers. Follow the documentation on the website for installing the driver.
