Computer Windows XP HELP!???

I have A Windows XP Flatscreen computer (bouught in 2005) and i am having a problem with putting discs in. Whenever i put a disc in, mothing comes up. So I go to My Computer and to DVD Drive but when i click on it, it says acsess denied(it doesnt do that on my other user accounts) how do i get it to unlock?????!!!

Go into the control panel, open "User Accounts", choose your username, and make sure it's set on "Administrator".  If you can't get into that panel with your name, use another name on the system to get to it.
