Information moves faster. People who wish to, can find out about any thing they are interested in. Politicians in Malaysia

today admitted that the ruling party lost ground because a lot of younger people were influenced by online forums and blogs.

Our family does not subscribe to the newspapers and we do not watch TV any longer.We get news online.

There is a lot of information out there and it is confusing to many, but things are still happening and its hard to judge yet on the long range effects of the computer age.

Today, many virtual experiments can be done by students that would not have been feasible even five years ago.The computer as a research tool is invaluable.

And gradually it has influenced the way we speak about issues. Book our holidays. Speak to friends abroad. Buy things in far off places. Date people we would otherwise never have met. Get married and have kids, that would not exist if their parents had not met online!
