Due to extended hours of time in front of my computer doing work and games I now have "Blepharitis" Dry Eye. IT is severe. I'm doing all kinds of steroid drops, antibiotic drops, antibiotic orally, and 2 moisturizer gels and drops. I also have to rotate ice compresses with hot compresses on my eyes and use lid scrubs. The glands in my lids are blocked. What can I do? Is there a cure for this or am I just findng myself having to treat a Chronic problem? Any cure for "Blepharitis" ? Does it go away? Hey Opthamalogists please help :)

  1. There is no cure for Blepharitis and needs long term-treatment to keep it under control because it rarely goes away.

Keep your eye lids clean and free of crusts. Warm compresses can be applied to the lid to loosen the crusts, followed by a light scrubbing of the eye lid with a cotton swab and a mixture of water and baby shampoo.

Just keep doing the treatments you are doing now and it should be under control.
