Hey friends,I own a couple of different computers and I have anti virus protection for all of them. My question is 1 computer has Norton Anti virus 2004 and the other has Norton Anti virus 2005. They have both expired. Do I need to get a 2004 and a 2005 or do i just get a complete new one for both. Help. I am confused

  1. get the most recent data base for whatever anti-virus u use. i use iolo it is the best.

  2. the main thing you want from an anti virus is that they update their virus definitions regulary, so they are protecting against the latest viruses... if you like norton, get the 2008 version for your computers as this is the most up to date version of the software, but even so if you re pay for the 2004 and 2005, as long as they activley pdate themselves, its ok. you dont actaully have to pay for virus protection anymore, there are a number of free anti virus softwares out there that update themselves likei said and you need not worry about them again, because they are free, and effective. a good example of this is AVG free and avast.
