  2. Is it time to do homework? or do actually need help? OK, about your question: each program that a computer runs demands resources and CPU time. If this demand is too high, the user will notice it as a slowdown in performance.

I just gave you a very short and simple answer. If you need a more comprehensive answer, google for articles related to cpu/computer performance.

  3. Using a registry cleaner can clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some regsitry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause "computer slow".

Everytime you install and uninstall software on your computer and surfing online you create junk in the computer registry.over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions, especially if the various programs you've installed do not do a good job of deleting and/or updating it's Registry entries. You need to scan and clean your computer with registry cleaner to make it fast.Good Regisry Cleaner will improve your computer and Internet performance dramatically!

  5. well  it depends on how much ram if you are running 3 programs and running at 75% of your ram then adding one more program will take it over its limit and cause your computer to slow down

  6. Well, you can go into great detail explaining how a typical operating system works, with emphasis on priorities and preemption...

However, it all boils down to the fact that a computer has one processor (but the same is true with the newer dual/quad core chips), and all processes (i.e. programs) need to share the CPU. Thus, if there are too many processes running at the same time, the greater the waiting time will be to get access to the processor, and the end user will notice a slow down.

Another concept that should be considered is that the running process must be loaded in physical memory (RAM) from hard disk. So, if you have many processes, eventually you will need to swap them back and forth, which requires significant amount of time.

    Cheers.

  7. Well we dont need rocket science for this one.
