When I use copy function my computer bleeps and this overloads the stereo's circuit breaker. Some content needs a lot of amplification to be heard and so I have the computer's volume high and the stereo too at these times. My sound scheme is already set to"no sounds" and when I have reviewed all of its sounds none of them correspond to my noise. Where can I turn off this bleep-bloop noise?

  1. What you are probably doing is feeding amplified sound source into your stereo amplifier - and yes, this could possibly cook your stereo amp.

Stereo amps usually require unamplified input , that is called, "line source" audio.

Do not feed amplified signals into any amplifier's inputs.
