Computer booting problem, restarts after the loading screen. please help?

Every time I turn my computer on it tells me to start it in

safe mode

safe mode with something

safe mode with networking

previous setting

start windows normally

I chose "start windows normally" though I tried it with previous setting as well

after choosing it and waiting for 30 seconds the loading windows XP screen the black screen with the blue loading bar shows and after two seconds restarts itself

my memory was pretty full.

What should I do, I'm usually pretty good with computers..and I NEED something in it right now.

Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new software, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . DONT FORMAT YOUR PC!

This doesnt sound good i must admit, you might want to try "last known good configuration" its in that list if that screen (where you select safe mode etc) doesnt come up press f8 as the pc boots and it will come up.

If that doesnt work, try booting to safe made, if that works use system restore to go back a couple of days, that might do the trick. You can find this under start > all programs > accessories > system tools.

if that doesnt work I would suggest you take it to an IT expert, they should be able to get the data off of the harddrive for you.

It sounds like the hard drive is still working if its trying to boot windows which means your data should still be on there.

If you do take it to someone and they say they cant get the data off, take it some where else and get a second opinion!

I'm sorry to tell you because the only solution for your computer is to reinstall the Windows Software because windows restart itselft to prevent your computer from getting damaged or corrupted. The problem is your windows frame might be broken by newly installed program. Do you newly install a program lately? I try my best to give a best answer. Please give me 10 points so I can reached my next level. Your kindness will be appreciated.

PLEASE READ FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RUN YOUR WINDWS REPAIR CONSLOE FROM YOUR WINDOWS CD AND RUN THE COMMAND: chkdsk

Either U had a power outage or u had an iproper shutdown an some of yur sectors got slightly damaged...What u can do is (according to what windows  or OS u are running) get the Installation cd---> load it in the CD rom tray...re-boot yur PC and bfore it starts up hit f12 to go to boot mode...--->then select boot from CD/DVD drive.....then U should see teh Windows CD booting up......When it does....

At the "Welcome to Setup" screen, press F10 or press "R" to repair.

it will then open up the command prompt screen---> then type in chkdsk as a command and it should automatically repair the bad sectors without U having to loose any info.......If u have WIndows XP home/pro and cant find a CD let me know.....

try

back to basics.

power off ~remove and replace ALL cables.

turn your router /modem off

unplug any add on's~extra speakers/microphones unplug any USB sticks

now with just ~mouse ~keyboard and speakers ~try to boot up

if it lets you ~remove any unused or easily replaced programs.

if this works then go back on line.

reduce the amount of memory used .

Choose safe mode with command prompt. Then run your command prompt and type CHKDSK. If safe mode with command prompt does not work, insert your OS installation CD then boot from it and run CHKDSK, this should repair the errors.

you need an external source to boot, insert your backup disc into your drive and boot that. windows should repair itself and if that doesnt work youll need to reformat your drive

Do you have tech support for your computer? If so, call them right away. it sounds like your operating system is corrupt and you are going to need to reinstall it. This happened to me a couple months ago--it just kept doing it over and over again.

I don't know about your specific computer, but I know I had to reinstall Vista...tech support would definitely know, it's tough to give you more details without knowing what system you have, etc.

Definitely call support, though...it sounds like it could be the same problem as mine.
