Computer class for children ideas?

Ok we have a non profit computer class at church, but its realllllly boring.. The cds are boring for the children, and all they do is mess around.. Any computer class (for children) ideas? Any activities we can do? Also, what is baby einstein? would that work?

Teach them how to use microsoft office especially word and excel, which will be used in high school and future careers.

Better to start them early than too late.

teaching computer in fact is another good media to stimulate the learning process/environment of a child. what makes it boring i think is the strategy but not the computer itself. I would suggest better think of something new how you will utilized these things out. Inject some ways which could capture the interest of your students without sacrificing these PCs the fact that nowadays these PCs are now trend in teaching young ones. Good luck.
