Computer crash. I have a Northgate Notebook 8599 Series Computer, and it has gone belly up on me.

I have a Northgate Notebook 8599 Series Computer, and it has gone belly up on me. Everytime I try to boot it up, it gives me and error, something to the effect of disk error reading.
