Computer desktop rotated 90 degrees - how do i fix?

So - I left my 2 year old by herself in the room with the computer for 5-10 minutes. When I came back, the desktop on the computer had rotated 90 degrees. NOT the background image - the whole desktop. I have Microsoft Windows XP. It's weird - the start menu is on the left & to read the monitor (icons, open windows, start menu) you have to tilt your head. It also jacked up the mouse - when you move the mouse up, it moves the arrow on the screen to the right (which is techinally "up" the desktop if you are tilting your head). Any ideas on how to fix this oddity?

  1. go to file click it then click control panle then look for settings then look around

  2. oh its like ctrl alt up or left or wat ever

  3. This is easily fixable. With some computers, there is a shortcut key. Others, you need to do it in the display options.

-If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, right-click on the desktop and open the NVIDIA Control Panel. There should be an option: Rotate Display, select No Rotation.

  4. try <ctrl><alt> left arrow (or right arrow).

if that doesn't work, try right click on your desktop and choose Graphics Properties (or Display properties) and look for a setting to rotate the display.

(or give it back to your 2 year for another 5-10 minutes). LOL
