Computer does not read flash drive

Question

I inserted the flash drive in the computer, and it acts like it doesn't read it. (I WAS USING MY COMPUTER EARLIER AND IT SHUT DOWN WITHOUT EJECTING THE FLASHDRIVE, AND AFTER THAT THE FLASHDRIVE FALL INTO THE GROUND) it is not wet or anything. How can I solve this matter, too much information inside
