Computer dummie needs help!!

Question

I am not very knowledgable when it comes to laptops but I just bought my first Toshiba and was wondering something. Should I be able to double touch the scroll pad instead of left clicking on something? I know this sounds stupid but everyone I ask doesn't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I am thinking of taking it back before my 15 days are up. Thanks

Yes.

You might need to adjust the settings.  Check the mouse settings in the control panel.  There will be some adjustments you can make.

Touch pads are a pain, but helpful when you don't have a mouse.

I believe so, I think all laptops do that now. Just tap twice on the pad and it should act as if you clicked the left click button.
