Computer experts about web cams please?

Question

From the UK, If i purchased a laptop with a web cam built in that is vga quality would you really notice much difference between this and a laptop with a 1.3mp camera.

Looking at a Toshiba laptop it states web cam vga quality, i see some laptops have 1.3mp camera's

well naturally the 1.3 mega pixel camera would be the best, but tbh the normal vga would probably do for standard webcam chatting etc, but it would depend on what you would use the camera for and also how often you would use it, then see if you would really get the benefit out of a more expensive camera, or consider getting the cheaper laptop and then get a seperate webcam for less money....
