Computer frozen at welcome screen after running spyware?

ok, so i was informed i had a virus in my computer. I ran a spy ware. Spy Emergency 2008. Everything was going well, it had found viruses that prior spy ware programs hadn't found. After removing those infected files, it said it had to reboot. When i try to turn my computer on, it freezes on the welcome screen!

can ANYONE please help me?

  1. Personally, I would uninstall Spy Emergency 2008. I don't consider it of much use. Try one of these (all free):

    Download, install, update, and run one or all of these:

    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

    SUPERAntiSpyware Free

    http://www.superantispyware.com/download...

    a-squared Free

    http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/down...

    Run your scans from safe mode. Tap F8 during boot, to get there.

    By the way, I'm not surprised Spy Emergency found viruses. It is known for flagging good files as bad. If the infected files were quaranteened instead of deleted, try to restore them. Use safe mode if you cannot boot into windows.

    Then run the other scanners.
