I have a Sony PCV RX900 series and would like to physically get inside the cpu but there are no screws that I can see. I got the top off but it offers little view of the inside.

I want to change the fans as something is making a loud grinding noise every once in a while

  1. GET IT DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL......IF YOU R NOT SURE HOW ITS DONE......DONT THINK ANY ONE CAN HELP U THROUGH THIS

  2. If u r not shure of hardware get it done by Proffessional else  u will loose ur manufacturers warranty

  3. better call a pro and make him remove and see what is the trouble. They may be screws but u may have not seen it. but it's not good for you to do it.

  4. do one thing buy a pc fan from the market it would cost you up to 50 bucks s***w it up along the grill from inside and connect the wire present with it to the SMPS(power supply).

It will just start along with the Cpu

and as you are not professional let the pro person do the talking of the sony thing

  5. Hi There,

You seem to have opened the wrong side of the cabinet, try opening the otherside you will have your fan.

Welcome to hardwiring of PCs. Nothing wrong doing it, go ahead do it dude.
