So you know the address bar on the computer? Like where you type the website? & you know how after you enter a site, it saves? For example www.yahoo.com you type in & check your mail & stuff. The next day you get on & you type www.ya & the bar comes down with the link because it's already been saved. So I was wondering how you can erase all these saved links? Thanks in advance...I will choose a best answer!

  1. In internet explorer, go to tools, then click internet options. Then Click Deleat. Then DEALET ALL!

  2. If you're using Firefox: Tools => Options. Click on the "Security" tab and make sure the box next to 'remember what I enter in forums and search bar' is unchecked.

Should be similar for internet explorer.

  3. If youre using the Yahoo Browser.. go to Tools at the top of the screen.

    Browser Options

    Clear URL's

(URL line is where you type in the website name)

Also go to START BUTTON> SETTINGS >CONTROL PANEL>INTERNET OPTION > DELETE HISTORY

Note:  Ive noticed that opening a new browser will sometimes make them come up again.  Make sure you clear them each time you use the computer.

Try opening a couple browsers (even a couple of the SAME browser) to make sure they are all deleted everywhere .

Im just saying this for you, as I sense you dont want to get caught at something.    Sorry, if Im wrong.

BTW you really can skip typing www. all the time..its not needed in most cases.

       Example  yahoo.com  gets you there

  4. there should be a tools with a gear icon towards the righ hand side and go to delete browsing history :)
