Computer help - POSSIBLE VIRUS?

Every time i go onto the internet to get pictures for my assignment when i press save as the box opens for 2 - 3 seconds and immediatly closes it down, and the internet site i was on. PLEASE HELP can i fix this, what is wrong with it????

  1. Its very possible that you have a virus causing it or it could simply be a software issue,below is a link for a program called trojan remover,download it,it is a free 30 day fully functional trial,if you have any virus,that will get rid of them.also you could go to your event viewer to see the error it is giving.the second link is for that to help you to use your event viewer.the event viewer is a very useful tool.since you r having programs close down for no reason. need more help email me.

Try typing msconfig from run in the start menu and click the sartup tab and uncheck any programs you do not recognize and delete any unwanted/unknown programs from add/remove and also scan with avg antivirus or any antivirus program.  Before you do this try going into safemode by hitting f8(in most cases) when you turn your computer on and click safemode with networking and try to download again if it does not work than you have a virus.  Good luck.  

  3. You may or may not have a virus on the computer.  Check out the removal guide below, complete step one of that and it should tell you whether or not your computer is infected.  After that let me know what is going on and I'll see what I can do from there:

  4. It may not be due to viruses. Some web site have protection for their copyright pictures. You cannot download them.

  6. all u need is a virus removal program i have norton and it usually fixes the problem i have like that. or take it to like geek squad or firedog to have them look at it
