Computer help please.?

Question

I have posted this Many times and I am aware of this. Just rounding up how many people say the same thing. But anyways, yeterday my friends gaming account got hacked and lost everything. I'm guessing the hacker was his friend long ago and told him to download something. He did and I guess he got a Trojan. The hacker uploaded a picture of his things that he stole from the gaming account on "imageshack.us" After that, my friend had sent me the picture. I'm now nervous because I clicked the link and will I have a Trojan if the hacker put one on the picture? Can he even put a Trojan on the picture? Also, I have avg and spybot and scanned atleast 4 times. Yes I updated them but I haven't found anything. It says my computer is clean but just making sure, does my computer have a Trojan?

as far as i know you need to have an extremely high knowledge to create a virus in an image.tell your friend to download kaspersky.com and run a full system scan

I am certain you will not get a trojan from imageshack, especially not from an image.

All anti-virus software is good, although I always base which one is the best by how fast it runs or how much resources it demands. I found CA Anti virus 2008 to run the best out of the five I've experienced in the past.

If AVG and spybot say it's clean it is. just scan daily.

i do systems security, and ive never seen someone embed a virus inside an image. It would require extremely high skill in custom image/C++ code (programming). Just so long as you don't got to any WEBSITE LINK (http://google.com/ ) you should be fine.

Tell your friend if he doesn't get rid of the trojan, he can run in to some serious problems! Like identity theft ans stuff!!!!!

P.S: Google isn't dangerous, it's just an example of a website link!
