Computer help with backup ?

i erased some important programs on my computer today, and i don't know how to use the backup drive on my computer to restore it to what it was yesterday. Can anyone help me!!!

Depends on what type of backup you are doing. If you are using a program to make the backups, you should be able to find restore options in that program.
