Question

Can I view a video from the memory card of the video camera?

If so please tell me how.

I know what port to use, but nothing seems to pop up...

It depends on what type of video camera you have.

You might have to turn your camcorder on and switch the mode to "PC or USB" mode (depending on make and model of video camera) and plug the usb into your computer.

Your computer should be able to read the files on your video camera. If you don't see a pop up, look in windows explorer and see if any new "drives" appear.

If all fails refer to  the manual.
