Computer is crashing. guy help fix. during process can he see.... ?

so yea. a friend of mine is going to fix my computer. cuz it is crashing. like the desktop keeps flashing at me and then i can't go to the start toolbar but it comes back n stuff. and yea i trust him when he says my computer needs to be rebooted or seomthing. anyways. so he is going to fix it...... when he doesn't can he see the sites i have gone to. bad or good??? like yea. cuz i was stupid a year ago and i don't want him to know how i was.... well yea- help me ??? lol like for example.... if you looked at myspace and he is cleaning your computer and rebooting it and making it be how it was when you bought the computer can he see that i was at myspace a lot???

when you go on top of your bar is says history click on history scroll down and it says show in sidebar and it shows ALL the websites you gone on your computer

"Rebooting" means he's going to restart it. I think you mean reformating...? Formating is the process of deleting all content on your computer.

And as far as being able to see how many times you have visited a certain website is impossible.

But being able to see what websites you have been to, that is possible if you haven't been deleting your history/cookies.

If you delete the cookies and browsing history, then there really isn't a way to tell.

As far as a hacker putting cookies into your computer, that would be pointless. Cookies are put on your computer by websites as a sort of memory of that site or what you do at that site, for instance, if you buy something online and put an item into your shopping cart, that is saved in a certain type of file on your hard drive as a cookie. For me, my cookies and other files are saved in C:\Documents and Settings\Toby\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files. Yours should be the same just change my name, Toby, to whatever your username is for windows. And voila!
