  1. Not necessarily so that you need to reformat.  What does it say on the pop ups?  Look through the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Dectections List and match the one you have.  Scroll down for the rogue part.

Download and update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and it's free to use.  This would be a useful addition for your computer if you decide to keep it.

  2. FIRST OFF GET RID OF THAT AVG PILE OF c**p ... AND IM BEING KIND HERE ..... I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW MANY ARE USING THIS c**p .... HERE IS A LINK GO WITH AVIRA OR AVAST I PREFER AVIRA ... YOUR CHOICE ... BUT UNINSTALL THE JUNK U HAVE NOW

  3. You may have to reinstall again as you're meant to install AV software _before_ you get infected (that is proper AV software, not a free scanner like AVG), but try here try here:

  4. Re-format your PC. And then, if you want to know any code .. just take from any others computer who are using good anti-virus. Or take the code from internet cafe...

    Good Luck...

  5. start up task manager and terminate any suspicious processes. start up msconfig (xp: start run, msconfig : vista start, search msconfig) and stop any suspicious items from starting (in the start-up tab) then get avast or get a torrent for a better anti virus (i recommend eset). i got the exact same virus a few days ago by downloading a key-gen and stopped it in it's tracks using this method (i already had eset though). hope this helps, benjie.

(the easiest way would be to do a reformat and install of windows and that would remove all traces of the virus.)

  6. jz reformat ur pc, simplest way, clean till the root, leave no trace

and this time, rmb 1st thing 1st, install the antivirus

  7. Reformatting your PC is the easiest way out.......in fact in your case i think its the only permanent way out. However if you have a bootable CD of Linux or something, you could give it a try...

  8. Reformatting would be the easiest option.  I however don't like to do that because I loose everything.  I would recommend deleting your Temp folder which can be found in My Computer> Local Disk C> WINDOWS>Temp.  A lot of times this is where viruses are found.  If you're willing to spend the money around $40 I would recommend gettting Norton Antivirus.  I would install that and do a full system scan this should find the rest of your problems.  If you can't run a full scan in normal mode try running it in safe mode by pushing F8 while your computer starts up.  Hope this helps!
