ok i had gotten viruses, so when i deleted them i thought all was well, but then my compute started crashing, i soon figured out that it was crashing every time it tried to go into sleep mode ( where the screen saver turns on ) . so i turned off sleep mode and now it still crashes, what is weird is it does not crash when occupied but when i'm not messing with computer or moving mouse for so long it just crashes, ( screen turns blue and these words pop up.) im not that great with computers so if someone can help in the easiest way i would really appreciate it.

  1. if you are  still able to use your computer download a free 30 day trial of kaspersky internet security 7 and scan your computer in safe mode.safe mode disable most viruses to make it easier for your antivirus application to remove them.remember to not use more than one antivirus as they tend to cause conflicts with each other.you can use more than one antispyware program but never 2 antivirus applications.if your computer doesn't work try to use the recovery discs to do a fresh install of windows.if you do not have the recovery discs contact your pc provider for details on how to get them.you usually have to have warranty on the computer in order to obtain the recovery discs and shipping free of charge.

  2. do a repair install of windows

  3. That sounds like your screen saver is corrupt.  Try this

    1. Right-click on the desktop and select Properties in Windows XP or Personalize in Windows Vista.

    2. Click the Screen Saver tab.

    3. If a screen saver is selected, click the Preview button.

If the problem happens, it's the screen saver, and after you reboot, I'd try this:

    1. Right-click on the desktop again and again select Properties.

    2. Click the Screen Saver Tab.

    3. Select a DIFFERENT screen saver, or turn the screen saver off.

    4. Try the Preview again.  If the problem goes away, click the Apply

    Hope that helps.
