  1. Crash Sound Effects

Upon crashing, a small device in the computer is activated, sending car crash noises and sound effects to the speakers, thereby annoying the computer user even more.

    .

When the noises have ended, as message plays, telling the person to get a better computer.

    .

Or you are just having PC noises ?

PCs have become increasingly noisy as PC components have increased in speed and in the amount of heat they generate. This heat is normally dissipated via a variety of fans inside the case and these fans are the major source of noise. They are not the only source of noise though, hard disks have platters that spin at very high speeds, badly designed cases have side panels that rattle, and optical drives like DVD and CD drives generate noise too.

  2. I'm experiencing the same thing.  It sounds like a thunderstorm sound effect coming from my speakers.  I suspected it was my weather channel download, but it seems strange to have a thunderstorm sound effect when there isn't rain in the immediate forecast.  I've got a dell desktop with vista.  And, I recently did quite extensive scans on my computer just because of this strange sound effect and my thinking I had a virus or trojan and I found nothing wrong.  Maybe it is the weather channel download after all.

I've heard this thunderstorm sound effect twice in the past hour and looking at the weather channel on my desktop there is a severe weather alert in my area for today.  It's not for rain though.  It's for hot temperatures.  Maybe a thunderstorm is their signal for any kind of bad weather.  If this is from the weather channel, I'm sure they've got a lot of people thinking there is something wrong with their computers.
