Computer-memory, compilers ,interpreters????

Question

Are compilers and interpreters stored inside a language only or are they stored somewhere else?

Are the files which are required for running the computer also stored in the hard didk itself, or are they stored somewhere else?

All programs, data files, etc are stored on the hard drive. Compilers & Interpreters are simply programs. Complex ones, but just programs.
