Computer networking career and education advice.?

I am thinking about attending the local community college for a career in computer networking. Can I find entry level employment in the field while attending college? Is this a hard career to start? Any advice on this career and how to approach education would be appreciated.

If you want to work while studying, then why go for a on-campus education. You can think of taking online courses in this field, and work side by side. Would be easier for you to manage both.
