Computer picture software?

When I had an older computer I had adobe photo software. I could put different colors of hair on my pictures or put hats on my family pics Could any of you tell me a good software to load on Vista (example) I put a pirate hat and patch on my gd's pic. Fun stuff only. Thank you

Well almost any graphic program will do that. Why don't you put Adobe on again?

GIMP for sure. I used to use Photoshop but now I am 100% GIMP. I would google for how to make it run in one window though. Its really easy and makes a huge difference. It is totally free and in my opinion is just as powerful as Photoshop and is much easier to use once you are used to it. It is a fairly small download too, so its good if you have a bandwidth limit. <HINT> path selection tool is gimp's version of photoshops polygonal lasso! </HINT>
