Whenever I start the computer a message is displayed saying.. Can not find script file "C:\WINDOWS\ststem32\AVG.vbs". Currently I am using trial version of Kaspersky anti virus. Previously I was using trial version of AVG 7.5. This problem started while I was using AVG anti virus. But as AVG was slowing down my computer so I changed it. But the message is still displayed whenever I start the computer. This problem was posted by me 1 day ago. One expert named Chadha Saab suggested me to open windows folderopen system 32 folder, find the file avg.vbs and delete it. He also said that if u are not able to find avg.vbs then it might be hidden, goto tools at the top then folder options and u will find an option to show all hidden files and folders just select that one and hit apply and ok then see whether you are able to find that file in system 32 folder, if still u cant find it then goto start then click on search (win xp) click on files and folders and search for avg.vbs in c drive if u find it then delete it.If these methods fail he suggested me to goto this link http://www.download.com/FileAssassin/3000-2094_4-10639988.htmland download file assassin.exe install and run it on the system. He also said when u run it u will see a box there ( blank white box in which u need to MANUALLY type the exact link of the file which is c:/windows/system32/avg.vbs Select "use normal delete function" and then click on delete and it would be deleted. But by the first method I could not find the avg.vbs file. When I tried to remove the file using FileASSASSIN it said..... the file you have specified does not exist or is not visible to FileASSASSIN. Please select another file. Now how can I get rid of the problem? Also is Avast anti virus free to download? How good an anti virus is it? Can you tell me where from can I download it?
