a few days ago my computer froze while i was trying to open a program and since ctrl+alt+del didn't work i had to hold the power button to shut my computer off. after that my computer seems like its all messed up, like everything loads super slow and even when i turn it on it takes about 10 minutes for everything to load up and every program takes about 2 mins to load as opposed to a few seconds when it was running properly. is there anyway i can fix this problem?

  1. that program might have given your computer a virus. do you have an anti-virus?  the best, in my opinion, is norton antivirus. there is also free scanners that will scan your computer for virusus. google antivirusus and some should come up. you also might have too full of a harddrive. rightclick start, explore, then rightclick  Local Disk (C:) then click on properties. a chart should pop up saying how much free space you have in that disk. im sorry, theres a way to check the whole computer but i dont remember how

  2. it might be ready to crash =( or you disk space is mostly used up.

  3. I got a blog about that kind of problems. Check for the post about computer performance

  4. You either have a virus or more than one antivirus program running at the same time.

  5. How much free space is on it? That could make it slower. Also, deleting your history and temporary files could help it work more rapidly. You can do that by "Tools" on the Internet Explorer. Also, use your Disk Defragment on your "start menu"system tools". If these do not help you, I'd suggest calling/contacting the company.

  6. Use a good antivirus and spyware software to scan ur pc and remove all viruses.

In case that doesnt work use system restore utility to restore ur pc to a previous date.
