Computer/sims 2 help!!?

i recently put the sims 2 nightlife back on my laptop (sony vaio by the way!) i also have lots of other EP's on it too...soo when i decided to play it it doesnt work (and i am using the latest up-to-date disc to play i.e sims 2 freetime) its not working, it just skips right to the bit where its loading and..doesnt even load...just freezes! so i un-installed nightlife and its still freezing...and also takes away the sound! even when the sound is turned right up...and it also take away the sound to everything else on the laptop!! eurhhhhhh plz helpppp

Hm. Your Sony Vaio may not have enough memory and the graphics crad might be bad.

Look up some drivers for your graphics card then after downloading those, try again.
