Computer sound system brokedown?

My computer sound system brokedown I don't know if it got burn or what when you put on volume you could still hear alilttle bit only if you put your ears real close. It still turns on but can barely hear it. I have check all the cables and all seem to be in place does anybody know what I can do to fix them?

I barely bought this sound system about a year and a half ago so there is no reason for this to happen could a virus have cause my sound system to mall function?

Down at the bottom of your computer when you turn it on an your looking at the screen.  It is called desk top.  Bottom right you should see a speaker, this is for sound adjustment.  You can adjust your volume here, or, check under your monitor or on the front there might be an audio adjustment there also.  One of these two areas ought to solve your problem.  Your computer is too new to have a audio breakdown.
