Computer stuck on background 5 mins?

I have a little problem with my PC when i start it , it shows my background without the explorer for about 3-5 minutes so i need to wait and then my icons will appear why that if any1 can help me. AMD athlon 4200 + 2gb ram. Maybe is virus or stmhg i dont know help pls :)

If you have checked the health specs in your bios and the processor isn't overheating or the system temps are all decent, then it might be time for a fresh install of windows.
