Question:

Computer takes along time to open?

tried to download some error fixing stuff but there is no difference at all.

Defragmented & did the disc clean up as well & it says,got 74% free sspace.What shall I do? Thanks

  1. You prob have too many programs running at start-up, look on the taskbar near the clock, there all programs running at start-up


  2. Delete some useless programs through control panel. That should free some of you RAM and make your computer run faster. Go to "start menu > programs > startup" to see what programs start up when you log onto your computer. Then you will know what programs you should uninstall.

  3. there are few others to consider also..

    1. check your system boot sequence.. you can do that by entering the bios of the system by pressing F12 or del (depends on your mother board make.) and then make your harddisk as the primary one..

    2. check for the startups.. open your system and then start>run>msconfig>startups

    and then disable the ones which you dont want.. this will reduce the no. of start ups when the system starts and reduces your start up time..
