Computer trouble! Where did my music go?!?!!!!

I have short cuts on my screen and under All Programs under Start, but when I click on iTunes is says

'iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes.'

And when I click on the shortcuts it says:

'This action is only available for programs that are currently installed.'

I have been using my iTunes!!!! Where did it go?! Where are all of my songs?!!!

iTunes stores the music files or just the library db in My Documents/My Music/iTunes depending on how you installed it.

To reinstall iTunes,  Open the Control Panel and select Add/remove programs.   Double click on iTunes and it will give you the option of repairing the install or removing it.  First try repairing.  If that doesn't work remove it and reinstall.  As long as the iTunes folder hasn't moved, the library with your music will still be intact.

Your songs have nothing to do with iTunes.. iTunes is a music player. Take this as an example, if your CD player broke, does it mean your CD will be broke and all gone? No. Do as the direction said... "Reinstall iTunes".
