Ok, the computer turns on but nothing will show up on the monitor like it always goes on power-save mode like it would be on stand by, what could be the problem?

  1. I have heard that it may be a mother-board problem. I have the same problem with one of my computers.

  2. it happens to me

keep it off for like 30 minutes then turn it on

and dont keep turning off ur computer after ur done using it...jus the monitor

  3. If you don't get anything, but the green power button, but never see anything on the screen, it's 100% a motherboard problem. Only thing you can try is to reseed the RAM. That probably won't work, but you can give it a shot.

The PC will also overheat if your fan has died. Like the other answerer who said leave it off for 30 minutes. It allows the processor to cool, but once if begins to heat, you only have 20-30 minutes.

That dude needs to get a new fan for his PC and it would be fine.
